How to Get The Clean Girl Look With Affordable Clean Skincare
If you haven’t heard of it, the “clean girl aesthetic” or “clean girl look” is the beauty trend popping up across TikTok and social media feeds everywhere. The clean girl makeup look is defined by fresh, glowing skin, fluffy eyebrows, slicked-back hair, and finished off with a swipe of sheer lip gloss.
As this trend continues to grow, there seems to be a typical list of essentials that make up the “clean girl” arsenal of beauty products. But, ironically, most of these essential clean girl products are not actually clean at all. At least not clean in the sense that they may contain toxic chemical ingredients that are known carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, or cause immunotoxicity and allergic reactions.
Clean beauty products are better than ever, more effective, more luxurious, and more accessible. So here’s how to get the cleaner “clean girl look” with affordable clean skincare options to swap out some of those less-than-stellar products typically used to achieve the clean girl look.

1) Kosas Revealer Concealer
Strategically place concealer for a natural "lifted" look with a dot on the inner corner of your eyes and a line from the outer corner of your eye towards your temple. Dot anywhere else you want to brighten or conceal.
2) Milk Makeup - KUSH Clear Brow Gel
"Fluffy" or "laminated" brows are the key to this look. Brush eyebrows upward and outward with a clear brow gel and don't forget to lift the tails of your brows for even more lift.
3) RMS Beauty “Un” Powder
To keep your concealer from creasing and to mattify any overly shiny areas like your T-zone, press (don't swipe) a loose translucent setting powder under the eyes, around the nose, and over your forehead.

4) Tata Harper Cream Blush
Melt a bit of the cream blush between your fingers and apply from the apples of your cheeks, along your cheekbones. Blend upward for a more lifted look. Blending a little blush along the bridge of your nose and on your eyelids will give you a natural all-over flush.
5) Milk Makeup Holographic Stick
Use a creamy highlighter to add a bit of dewiness. Dab along the bridge of your nose and over top your cheekbones.
6) ILIA - Fullest Volumizing Mascara
Warm your eyelash curler with the lowest setting on your hair dryer. Test the temperature of the curler on the back of your hand before bringing it to your lashes. Squeeze gently at the base of your lashes to give them a natural bend. Seal the curl with two coats of mascara.
7) Beauty ShineOn Jelly Tower 28 Lip
A juicy berry or peach lip gloss finishes off the look with a little shine. If you want a little extra oomph take a nude lip pencil and lightly overline your cupid's bow and round out your bottom lip before applying your gloss.
